Google has rolled out a new visual layer for its Gemini 3.8 conversational model, allowing users to interact with an animated avatar that mirrors the AI’s spoken responses in real time. The "Live Avatar" feature syncs lip movements and facial expressions with the model’s output, creating a more immersive dialogue experience.

The update, which is currently limited to users of the Gemini platform, adds a dynamic visual cue to the otherwise text‑only interaction.
