X Consolidates Premium, Grok AI and Cursor into One Monthly Plan
X, the social platform formerly known as Twitter, unveiled a unified subscription offering that merges its premium service with the company’s AI tools Grok, Grok Bot, and the Cursor developer assistant, all under a single monthly fee.
The rollout was announced by SpaceXSI, a division linked to X, which framed the bundle as a way to streamline access to the growing portfolio of paid features the company has introduced since its acquisition.
X Premium, the flagship tier, already provides an ad‑free experience, extended video length, priority ranking in timelines and a verification badge for subscribers. By folding the AI components into the same plan, X aims to give users a more cohesive experience across social, conversational and productivity functions.
Grok and its chatbot counterpart, Grok Bot, are X’s in‑house large‑language‑model services. They enable users to ask questions, generate summaries, and receive contextual replies directly within the platform, positioning X as a competitor to external AI chat services.
Cursor, meanwhile, is an AI‑enhanced code editor that assists developers with code generation, refactoring and debugging. Its inclusion signals X’s intent to attract a technical audience that may benefit from integrated development tools alongside the social network.
Analysts note that bundling these services could boost subscriber numbers by offering a more compelling value proposition, especially as rivals such as Microsoft’s Copilot and Google’s AI suites continue to expand. The company has not disclosed the exact pricing, but indicated that existing premium members will be transitioned to the new structure without interruption.
The combined subscription is slated to roll out over the coming weeks, with X monitoring user uptake and feedback to fine‑tune the offering. If successful, the model may pave the way for further integration of AI capabilities across the platform’s core services.
