Across much of Europe, including Britain, familiar green landscapes have transformed into vast stretches of yellow and brown this summer. This widespread browning of fields, parks, and residential lawns is a striking visual indicator of prolonged dry conditions, but it has also brought forth an unexpected phenomenon: the clear revelation of ancient, hidden structures etched into the land.
