Evertrue Capital Deploys $17 Million to Fuel European AI and Fintech Startups

Evertrue Capital announced the launch of its inaugural fund, committing $17 million to back early‑stage companies developing artificial intelligence and financial‑technology solutions across Europe.

The fund, spearheaded by veteran investor Yvonne Bajela, aims to provide both capital and strategic guidance to startups that are still in the seed or pre‑Series A phase. Bajela, who has spent more than a decade navigating the continent’s tech ecosystem, said the fund is designed to bridge a financing gap that many promising founders encounter when scaling beyond prototype.

Europe’s venture‑capital landscape has seen a gradual uptick in AI and fintech activity, yet the region still lags behind North America in the volume of early‑stage funding. Evertrue’s entry comes at a time when policymakers are encouraging innovation through regulatory sandboxes and tax incentives, and when large corporations are increasingly looking to partner with nimble tech firms.

Industry observers note that the $17 million pool, while modest compared to mega‑funds, is sizable enough to take a meaningful number of companies from concept to market validation. The firm plans to allocate the capital across a diversified portfolio, targeting sectors such as predictive analytics, decentralized finance, and AI‑driven compliance tools.

Potential investees will benefit from Bajela’s network of mentors, corporate partners, and follow‑on investors. Evertrue has already begun scouting candidates in tech hubs such as Berlin, London, Stockholm, and Paris, and expects to make its first allocations within the next quarter.

Looking ahead, the firm intends to assess the fund’s performance after its initial 18‑month cycle and consider raising a larger vehicle if demand from limited partners remains strong. By focusing on AI and fintech, Evertrue hopes to contribute to a more competitive European tech sector and to help homegrown innovators scale globally.
